The head of the infertility hospital, Liu Shauanbao, hires a surrogate mother to bare a son for him. To protect himself from Liu Shuandbao, Wu Yingde, the owner of another infertility hospital, conspires with Liu Shuangbao's lover, Wang Mali, to kidnap Liu Shuanbao's new son, Xiao Bao.
Wu Yingde and Wang Mali put Xiao Bao in a basket, tied with balloon, and throw the basket from an apartment. The balloon is unexpectedly blown in another direction and lands in a courtyard belonging to an infertile couple, Li Xiaoguo and Chang Shuixian.
Li Xiaoguo and Chang Shuixian have undergone several medical fertility treatments, but still cannot bare children. One evening, on their way home from a fertility doctor, they accidently run into two hooligans, Da Sheng and Kou Kou, who then extort the poor couple for money. Li Xiaoguo and Chang Shuixian escape and return home to find baby Xiao Bao in their courtyard. The excited couple hope to adopt Xiao Bao.
Da Sheng and Kou Kou, track down Li Xiaoguo's home and force their way in. When Da Sheng and Kou Kou discover that the baby is Liu Shuanbao's son they steal Xiao Bao from Li Xiaoguo's home and ask for a higher price from Liu Shuanbao.
Wu Yingde finally finds the basket at Li Xiaoguo's home, but Xiao Bao has already been taken by Da Sheng and Kou Kou. A fierce battle for Xiao Bao breaks out between Li Xiaoguo, Liu Shuangbao and Wu Yingde. Finally, Li Xiaogui safely gets Xiao Bao back.
